Agung is graduated from the Indonesian Institute for the Arts (ISI Surakarta) with concentration on Javanese Traditional dance. He studied with many master teacher such as S. Maridi, Soenarno Purwolelono and many others. He Create Studio Moncar as one of dance troupe in Solo city that focus on Javanese traditional dance. As a choreographer and dancer Agung’s works has presented in Asia, Europe and the United State. He was dancer and choreographer for Cheng Sue zeng with Handle and Hyden Society in London and most recently he was one of the dancer for Garin Nugroho’s Opera Jawa “Tusuk Konde” at the Branly Musseum in Paris France. He is also one of the choreographer for Reog Ponorogo which performing in Ponorogo for Reog Ponorogo Compitition in Ponorogo, East Java.
